We got to Carthage just before it closed, One of the sister missionaries was kind enough to give us a private tour. Im glad this is how it was because it was a very emotional thing for me. They took us up to the jail cell where Joseph, Hyrum, John Taylor and others were kept, then they took us into the bedroom that Joseph and hyrum were Martyred they played a tape for us to listen to which told of how it happened. It was a really neat and spiritual experience. thank so much Carol for taking us there!
